Tennessee Volunteer fans urge their team to “Overcome the Tide”

It’s been a rough stretch for Tennessee Volunteer fans the past few years, especially in their annual rivalry with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama has won five games in a row in what’s been dubbed as the Third Saturday in October, and Vols fans are rightfully upset.
One group decided to take things one step further and write a song about the Vols’ woes vs. their crimson rivals. It’s… um…. well, we’ll let you be the judge:
The plea of these UT fans is to “Overcome the Tide,” no doubt referencing the Vols’ recent losing streak.
There are plenty of choice lyrics, but the chorus reads:
Stand and fight, never flight and face the opposition!
Let’s band together true and strong and overcome the Tide!
The video is mostly clips of Tennessee players making plays against Alabama (nevermind that some of those plays came in games that the Tide won convincingly) mixed in with a few clips of these Tennessee bros in their UT get-up and rockin’ their bass, drums and other instruments of choice.
What do you think, Alabama fans?
